Pre-release
  • Added a bug report center which collects all the errors generated using the plugin. It lets you see the date, time, file, line, message and stack trace of the bug issued. You can download the report or delete it. The bug report center is located in the MyFacebook Connect's settings page.
  • Patched the redirection bug which brought the user to Facebook once they log in for their first time instead of the actual site. This fix should also bring back to the page the user was watching before logging in more precisely compared to the past.
  • Edited the port check functionality with an option to skip the port check and install the plugin even if the port check fails. Admins should be aware that using the plugin without having port 443 open on their servers will NOT harm their boards but it won't actually work.

  • Updated the SDK to support the latest Facebook APIs. The official SDK requires an updated PHP version, but due to MyBB's list of PHP versions supported, a custom and updated version of the previous SDK is used instead.
  • Addressed an issue which showed a #200 error to the user if he didn't authorize writing permissions to your application.
  • Added a 443 port check upon installing the plugin. Port 443 opened is required for MyFacebook Connect to communicate with Facebook's API endpoints. Boards that already installed the plugin are not affected by this change, but if you are struggling trying to make it work, you may have to uninstall the plugin and try to install it again.
  • Addressed an issue which showed a database error if the plugin was not installed properly.
