Trying to open a file "smb://dave@.../www/file.php" results in

"smb://dave@.../www/file.php" was not found Would you like to create it as an empty document?

The open dialog allows me to browse to the windows share, I guess there is just one call that checks it's permissions before opening it???

Anyway, this occurs with the git version, I just cloned and compiled it.

This appears in a terminal if I run it from there:

CALLBACK: fill-authentication!!!
