    The Download button is now supercharged. It gives you the option to download a Zip version of the repository and suggests other downloads – recent tags, basically – giving people have a chance to download your version’d releases.

      BTW – I understand the Zip logo. It has a zipper on it. But the “Tar” logo? Perhaps it could be a black, tarry document icon with a white zipper? :)

      nice!

      i was hoping for versioned downloads. Now you can hotlink in blog posts directly to the correct version. So many tutorials and such pointing to the tarball led readers to download edge versions that might not necessarily apply.

      What a nice touch. How about an indication of the download size, though? Perhaps some nice subtle gray text below the two main icon at least. Keep up the good work.
