Please take a few minutes to fill out the 2008 Git User’s Survey.
The Git community values this annual survey. By filling it out, you’re contributing to the superb open source tool we all use and love.
All questions are optional. You can skip questions and submit at any time.
The official announcement is on the Git mailing list. We’ll post about the results once the survey ends (around October 10th).
(Also: tell your friends.)
Update: Explained all the questions are optional.

Wow, that’s a crazy long survey. 60 questions and one of them has you specify how much you use 50 individual git commands. I did complete it, but I’d feel better about encouraging others if the survey was shorter. Oh well.
+1
It didn’t even give me my git personality type at the end! Not even which celebrity git user I’m most like! :’(
What a terrible survey.
sorry, that’s really too long!
Too long. I was filling it but then I saw the lenght of the page… sorry, I’m so lazy. :P
But for me: This is a more-than-great service, carry on!
Hey guys, remember that all the fields are optional. Just skim it and answer the ones you want to.
(Also note this is a Git survey, not a GitHub survey!)
I personally enjoyed the broken English in some of the questions.
I filled in most of the questions, but it indeed was too long even if you don’t have to answer everything…
Perhaps someone should make a Git User’s Survey Survey.
Wow, they should have a question at the end:
“how many new git commands did you learn by going through the survey?”
I didn’t know half of those! There are some really good ones (git cherry, clean, annotate,...).
Which ones did you learn and found particularly cool?
What happened to the survey results? Are they published yet?
