When do people usually commit to Rubinius? What languages are used by gitbuilder? Who committed how much to GitNub, and when?

Big thanks to Chris Neukirchen for the code powering the Punch Card graph!

Dustin, if you’re reading this. I’m disappointed in your lack of commitment. ;-) Seriously, this is great stuff guys.

actually..forget what i wrote there, lol…does that even make sense? i get confused with that am/pm stuff, since i’m used to 24h times (thats the way we handle it here in germany, and i think its easier…oh well ^^)

Daaaaamn. That’s very nice, regardless of practical use.

    Wow nicely done.

What graphing library do you use? Nice stuff.

    hans Fri Sep 05 21:25:28 -0700 2008

Lol, might this have been inspired by http://github.com/hans/gitchart ? :P

kamu: the first two use Google Charts and the Impact Graph is all custom Canvas + JavaScript. I’ll write a full blog post about that next week.

    kamu Fri Sep 05 23:15:19 -0700 2008

Thanks mojombo, I didn’t even think to look at the image location, but checking now it clearly says google charts api. :)

A minor nitpick: Haml files have their language marked as “HAML”, but the official capitalization is “Haml”.

wow, this is so cool!! looks awesome!

Times are a bit off. Do they assume everyone commits from California or something? :-)

    trevorturk Sat Sep 06 08:16:40 -0700 2008

    Totally awesome.

    zenspider Sat Sep 06 14:29:33 -0700 2008

    branch support!

e.g. the majority of the current activity on rubinius is happening on the cpp branch, which the impact graph is completely ignoring.

    mojombo Sat Sep 06 16:35:25 -0700 2008

zenspider: these are all very 1.0 versions. We’ll be adding more features and more visualizations over time, branch support included!

Wow, these are great! Wonderful job.

Unfortunately, since it seems to be based upon file extensions, GitHub wrongly reports my Matlab code as being Objective-C since both use .m as their extension.

Dmitry Baranovskiy rewrote the Impact graph in Raphaƫl (hosted on Github) so that it works cross-browser and you can click on the entire shape rather than just the squares. Very cool!
