Ever since announcing that public projects are free, people have been asking about our pricing plans. The moment of truth has arrived.
Details are here: http://github.com/plans
Update: We’ve added an FAQ section to our plans page. Hopefully it will clear up any confusion. Check it out.

great plans, great prices!
I can get my new clients to signup for a micro plan, create a new private repo, add myself as a collaborator! When my client decides to add more developers he can simply upgrade his account and if I leave my client and the other devs still have full access to the repo + an awesome way of browsing through the code.
Good job guys!
Looks good. When will these come into effect?
Are these totally flat rates or are there discounts for paying, for example, 12 months up front?
Any chance we could get indicators of how much disk space we’re currently using? I’m mirroring a couple of large svn repos right now, and I’m afraid that I might be over the 100MiB limit.
How do you see this working for teams that want to collaborate on several private repositories (say a small company)? Is the limit on Private Collaborators not rather restrictive?
I agree with mloughran. I’m a freelancer and I usually give the client SVN access to checkout his own copy. I think the micro should have at least 2 private collaborators. After all, is it really collaborating if there’s only one person?
