    Microsoft’s IronRuby is moving to GitHub.



    They’ve already been here for a while, but now the main repository is officially moving.

    IronRuby joins Rubinius and dozens of other language implementations. Welcome, guys!

    What is a “language implementation?”

    There is a specification describing how Python should work and there are multiple implementations of this specification. This is the case for many languages including C and C++.
