• YUI on GitHub

    defunkt 8 Dec 2008

That’s right! As mentioned in their YUIDoc announcement, Yahoo’s User Interface Library is now hosted publicly on GitHub at http://github.com/yui.

Be sure to check out the brand new YUILibrary and YUIDoc, as well as davglass’ github-trac plugin. Welcome, guys!

Update Oh yeah, don’t miss their Git FAQ – it’s top notch.

Awesome. I just finished porting their stylesheets to Sass. Checkout compass.

Wow. If the matter was simply Git alone, they could just host their own repos. I guess that’s more proof GitHub did really bring something new (and useful) with its clean UI and open forking model.

@mernen—That’s exactly the reason ;) GitHub is an awesome service and we (YUI) are real happy to be using it..
