• 100,000 Users!

    Less than a year and half after our public launch, GitHub surpassed 100k users last night. Thanks to all for signing up, here’s a simple graph I whipped up courtesy of topfunky’s gruff library.

    I like how the Y-axis starts at 2. 0 is just too boring, I guess. (Also, no label on the X axis?)

    @mhinze the number of users is the number of accounts. If you're referring to the number of committers across every repository, we don't keep stats on that, but it would be a much higher number than 100k.
