Less than a year and half after our public launch, GitHub surpassed 100k users last night. Thanks to all for signing up, here’s a simple graph I whipped up courtesy of topfunky’s gruff library.

I like how the Y-axis starts at 2. 0 is just too boring, I guess. (Also, no label on the X axis?)
Yeah, that's really kind of dishonest when the bottom of the chart isn't at 0
Congrats on this achievement!
Congratulations! Your service worth it!
You can really experience the amount of users using GitHub :/
Amount of users or number of accounts?
@charlieok, 2 are the founders of Github :P
Congrats!
Yes, we need more info on the X-axis.
drat I must have been 100002! just missed it! - Just joined github - am mightily impressed
@mhinze the number of users is the number of accounts. If you're referring to the number of committers across every repository, we don't keep stats on that, but it would be a much higher number than 100k.
Congrats, GitHub!
To everyone else, file a bug! ;-)

Wow, that's a really great curve, the growth is going always faster !

Why does it always have to be exponential? Why don't people brag about their S-curve?
Congrats on the achievement! free games
