question.rb, on line 195, in check_name, uses name.strip! to remove spaces from the passed argument.

Aside from modifying variables without warning, if you pass an immutable string to a query, it will make it's way to this method, and the strip! will throw an error; the error is caught by the method, which rethrows a very unhelpful NameError "Question name #{name.inspect} not valid".

I suggest using name = name.strip, instead of name.strip!.
