great script :) but once the flickr API returns

<?xml version="1.0" ?><rsp stat="ok">
<photos page="1" pages="0" perpage="500" total="0"/>
</rsp>

the script fails with an IndexError exception.

To fix this, just replace:

pages = int(dom.getElementsByTagName("photo")[0].parentNode.getAttribute("pages"))

with:

try:
    pages = int(dom.getElementsByTagName("photo")[0].parentNode.getAttribute("pages"))
except IndexError:
    pages = 0
