Rainbow for Firebug
Rainbow brings javascript syntax highlighting to Firebug 1.2.

Prerequisites
You definitely need Firebug 1.2 (beta versions worked for me).
Warning: When you install this extension with older version of firebug, firebug stops working. In this case just uninstall this extension and firebug will work again.
Installation
Preferred way is to install this firefox extension via addons.mozilla.com. The latest version is available here.
Current State
Version 0.7 works with Firebug 1.2b7.
Consider this software as experimental until there is final Firebug 1.2
