Open Movement

Open Movement devices are miniature, embeddable, open source sensors developed at Open Lab (formerly the Digital Interaction Group at Culture Lab) at the School of Computing, Newcastle University, UK.

Core Team

Yu Guan — academic lead of the Open Movement project.

Dan Jackson — a project co-founder responsible for the Open Movement software and co-developer of the device firmware.

Karim Ladha — a project co-founder with key responsibilities in electronic design and firmware.

Tom Nappey — industrial designer with key responsibilities in enclosure and attachment design and manufacture.

Patrick Olivier — founder and original academic lead of the Open Movement project.
