There is an existing problem with sorting of text (a-z) when using Firefox 2. Tested on WinXP SP2 and SP3. Its not confirmed if this error occurs when using other sorting algorithm.

As FF2 is not longer maintained (over 1 year no security fixes) by mozilla, this is a low priority bug.

Fixed for both legacy and master branch. Thanks Dominik for helping out:

This affected also a few other browser like Chrome on Linux and IE8.

Problem was a combination from a Bug in jQuery 1.4.x (:visible selector does not work in certain browsers, Im still searching for this bug and its documentation) and a problem with my sorting clauses.

This issue was closed.
