There is small problem: EM client need to be ready to reconnect to another host, so it is required to reestablish connection.

Yep, that'll require some additional work, but it should be doable. EM.reconnect should do the trick:

Namely, in rough pseudo-code:
def unbind() if @redirect; reset_state; reconnect @host, @port; end end

That should keep the same request object but swap out the connection signature without client noticing a thing.

Not at the moment, but it sounds like you're looking for multipart uploads [1]. You'd have to add some additional logic, but it shouldn't be that hard.

Hmm, that's a great question. Never tried it on windows. Don't see why it wouldn't work, but it would require some modifications to the build procedure.
