brew doctor says everything is OK, but brew install wireshark fails:
Error: Failure while executing: ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/Cellar/wireshark/1.2.9 --disable-dependency-tracking --disable-wireshark
Please report this bug at http://github.com/mxcl/homebrew/issues
It looks like an autotools configure failed.

Can anything be done my side?

Assuming you have glib installed, what does a:
brew link -v glib
give you? There may have been errors during Homebrew's symlinking step in glib.
