StreamDiff provides an alternate view of your Facebook News Feed. Check it it here: http://www.streamdiff.com/
A sample application built using the Facebook Connect JavaScript SDK: http://github.com/facebook/connect-js. It is written entirely in JavaScript without any server side support.
