There are three knobs to twist, all of them in the client config: - ssl_ca_path, this is the path to a directory with symlinks to the right certficates, created using openssl's rehash command. - ssl_ca_file, this is the path to a file containing one or more CA certificates we trust. - ssl_verify_mode :peer, if this is not set, we don't actually check the SSL cert. You would typically just use either ssl_ca_path or ssl_ca_file, not both.
