Added closed feature to forums, this means that a forum will still be visible but new topics and replies cannot be posted by unauthorised people (features pending, some of us have to go to work!). Added the rspec and rspec-rails plugin. Inserted eager-loading for individual forums so that it would load the posts and users for topics inside the paginated query. Inserted eager-loading for the topic show screen so that it would load the posts and users for the topic. Added pagination to the topic show screen and the forum show screen (underneath any topic's subject will now be pages if the topic warrants it). Added in beta searching capabilities using ThinkingSphinx. Updated the stylesheet to make the pagination links slightly smaller. Added a migration to add deltas to topics and posts for ThinkingSphinx. Added even more tests, an .autotest file for growl notifications, fixed up a few more places where it was needlessly calling #id on objects for route helpers. Fixed up the relationships between forums and the last post and the sub forum they were posted in. Changed the #belongs_to_user method for messages to just #belongs_to? The post model now will correctly define which forum it was last posted in. Tidied up a whole heap of crap, mostly methods which had extraneous bracketting. Added in date_display method for lib/authenticated_system.rb which will let users configure how they want the date to be displayed. The route for locking the topic has now been moved to a PUT http verb instead of a GET, as it suits the purpose of what the action is doing. Also the routes are changed for locking/unlocking topics, removing the dependency of the forum object as that was not really needed. Also added a theme select box to the user's profile view, this will allow a user to select which theme they want to use on the site. It will only be displayed if there are more than two themes selected. Added last post caching. I know this is not quite an issue yet, but it was raised on the google group for rubyonrails (rubyonrails-talk), so I thought I'd code it in now, ready for later. It caches the last post's ID on the forum, as well as the id of the subforum if it was posted inside a sub forum. This stops us from querying ALL the topics and ALL the posts for ALL of the topics to find out which post was the last post.
