If we still want to remove it the deprecation warning should also explain the built in solution to use just like any other deprecation warning in Rails 3.
Hi, removing this method seems to have some nasty effects when using haml. See http://github.com/nex3/haml/issues/issue/125 for the details, and don't hesite to comment this bug report if you have any clue on it.
