TableView
=========

Yet another TableView component for Rails. This one is really easy to use, at least for me ;)

Example
=======

In controller:

  @table = TableView.new(Document, self) do |t|
    t.column :title,          :text   => true
    t.column :restricted,     :label  => "paid"
    t.column :authors_names,  :th     => { :style => "width:12%" }, :label => "author", :text => true
    t.column :created_at,     :th     => { :style => "width:8%"  }, :label => "date",   :default => true
    t.column :views,          :th     => { :style => "width:5%"  }
    t.column :comments_count, :th     => { :style => "width:8%"  }, :label => "comments", :not_sortable => true
  end

  @documents = @table.paginated_items(:per_page => 20)

In view:

  <table>
    <thead>
      <tr>
        <th style="width:2%"><input type="checkbox" /></th>
        <th style="width:2%"></th>
        <%= @table.headers %>
        <th style="width:8%"></th>
      </tr>
    </thead>

    <tbody>
      <%= render @documents %>

  <%= will_paginate *@table.to_will_paginate %>
  
Code above will render table with clickable column names, to sort table contents.
TableView also scans current params for following keys, in order to perform several actions, like filtering
and search. Here's an example URLs and what will they do:

 /documents?documents_filter_by_restricted=t - will filter show only documents with restricted set to true
 
 /documents?documents_filter_by_state=published - will filter show only documents with state set to published
 
 /documents?documents_search_by_text_fields=money - will filter documents using LIKE %money% search on all fields marked 
 as :text => true
 

* If you are curious, "documents_" prefix exists for all params keys to allow you to have several table view components 
on a single page *
