I created a ticket and checked it out. Then I resolved it and created another ticket. Running 'ti comment' at this point attaches a comment to the first ticket (the resolved one). I would expect an error stating there is no current ticket to operate on. I also don't see an action to "check in" a ticket -- so I expected resolving the ticket would do this.

Nobody (including me) expects a new branch to be created by simply typing ti. The standard is to use an init command. A very wide-spread convention in the ruby/git community. So it would be better to show some little hint or the command list instead.

A help command is essential! If you are on the command line you shouldn't need a browser to look up the commands. Currently you simply get this:

    $ ti help
    not a command

Apologies in advance, I'm not a Ruby developer so know very little of Gems (and was under the impression gem handles dependencies, perhaps this assumption is the issue)..

I followed the instruction on the Wiki for installation:

$ sudo gem install schacon-ticgit --source=http://gems.github.com

But when I try to use ti:
