Attempting to render any partial in a controller under test like so:

render :partial => "shared/partial", :object => some_object

Gives the following error:

SomeController create - successfully creates object

Failure/Error: post :create, :review => {(parameters)}
You have a nil object when you didn’t expect it!
You might have expected an instance of ActiveRecord::Base.
The error occurred while evaluating nil.[]

Workaround: Just call "controller.stubs(:render)" in the test.

Lets say I want to run only fast, focused examples:

Micronaut.configure do |config|
  config.filter_run :focused => true, :speed => 'slow'
  config.alias_example_to :fit, :focused => true  
end

produces:

No examples were matched by {:focused=>true, :speed=>"slow"}, running all

So running the above looks like it runs everything, because the #find filter method is using all?, which means it only finds examples that match both conditions.

That may be fine, as I'm not sure if I've ever really needed to AND two filter conditions together. We should probably either

• document the current behavior and leave as is or
• implement a way to do AND instead of OR conditions

This should work:

describe "old implementation", :pending => true do

To handle the type of case where you have a few really slow examples that should only run on CI, or only run for a specific rake task:

Micronaut.configure do |config|
   config.filters.exclude :slow => true
end

describe Foo, :slow => true do.... # etc
