spec for branch-switching warning-override mechanism discovered that my 
addition of a parenthesis caused the dialog to show "error" 
where the filenames should have been.  fixed

bugfix - git 1.5.5 changed the warning for branch switching from fatal to 
error, resulting in a no longer functioning 'Conflicts may happen if you 
switch... proceed anyways?' feature.

renamed wishish_command to run_detached.  Added path searching 
functionality to find gitnub.  run_detached was reporting an error, we 
grabbing the pid from the child process we fork - fixed.

in order for auto-focus to work, you must pass "Wish Shell" for 
gitk, and "Git Gui" for git-gui.

removed some redundancy of code and made the delay for focussing wish 
shell a bit longer (had an instance where it caused wish shell to launch 
before gitk)

moved gitk command into the misc controller.  Added a delayed "Wish 
Shell" activate hack that helps solve the problem of gitk launching 
into the background
