adding look ahead filter to make sure jobs are not scheduled twice, this will be very expensive unless you have unique constraints setup in your db or have your indexes setup on the appropriate columns

having last_error Base64 encoded before saving to postgres so DJ will not trip over encoding errors that might well be the reason why the job failed in the first place
