= Welcome to RAM: Ruby Asset Manager

RAM is the premiere open-source, role-based, access-controlled digital asset
manager for Ruby on Rails. It was built from the ground up to be a fast, secure
and efficient platform for the distribution, aggregation and tracking of online
digital assets.

= Installation

From the root directory of this application type:

  rake install

This will launch the install wizard, which will take you step by step in setting up RAM.

If you have problems installing RAM, consult the support section of our
website, which can be found here: http://www.locusfoc.us/ram/pages/docs.

Additionally, you can come by our IRC channel at:

  Server : irc.freenode.net
  Channel : #ram

We hope you enjoy RAM!
