This is from an Ubuntu server with the default Ruby package installed, when running tests.

https isn't mandatory, so the test code should gracefully fail instead of blowing up if it isn't found.

Try downloading an MP3 with firefox, and one will hear only a fraction of a second of audio.

Chunked encoding isn't supposed to require a content length header, but Firefox apparently disagrees, so, to be safe, Content-Length just needs to be in every header.
