Checkout from another domain

I am running actions on our GH Enterprise server and I can happily checkout whatever repos I need. One workflow wants a repo from our enterprise area on github.com and I can't find out how I specify that the repo is on github.com and not our internal server.

I tried:

- name: Checkout github.com repo
   uses: actions/checkout@v2
   with:
      repository: github.com/some_org/some_repo

but I get the error:

 Invalid repository 'github.com/some_org/some_repo'. Expected format {owner}/{repo}.

I just checked out the repo manually, which is okay for my specific case as the repo is a public fork.

- name: Checkout github.com repo
     shell: bash
     run: git clone --branch some_branch --single-branch https://github.com/some_org/some_repo.git

I think this action should be extended with an option e.g. host:, that defaults to localhost as that would allow you to direct the request to any GitHub server.
