MCP Server: automatic using of resources

MCP server expose resources, and VS Code Chat can handle them, but it requires that the user selects the resource by hand and attaches it/them to the context.

The MCP specification states that:

Other clients might automatically select resources based on heuristics

Would it be possible to enable the automatic selection/addition of MCP Server resources to the context in VS Code Chat?
