Fixes #233604

Hello! I noticed that there hasn't been any activity for this issue in a while, so I would like to propose my fix for this issue. This fix builds off of @SalerSimo's idea of opening a new terminal and displaying the recent command window, but it does so by only modifying the command implementation. I'm happy to revise this based on any feedback, so please let me know your thoughts!

@Sublimeful stop updating please, it resets CI whenever you do. This should pass, just needs ~20 minutes to pass CI
