In this project, we mined through the SpotifyⓇ music database and identified the optimal ranges of music theory and song structure—for example, key signature, beats per minute, beats per measure, tempo, etc.
An iOS app for musicians to find the next chord to aid in music writing/improvising or just for fun.
Cithara is a music theory web app and Python library for exploring the relationships between notes, scales, chords, and intervals. Built with Django, DRF, and Next.js, it lets users generate and visualise scales with support for sharps/flats, and will soon support advanced queries like chord-to-scale matching.
