SQL 2022 STIG - should I use 2016?

Question about using SQL 2016 stig through powerstig against a SQL 2022 server. I see the 2022 stigs are released in preview on DISA's site. Thank You

I would try it on a non production box, I suspect that it will work, not sure if it would be 100% effective.
