I've been experiencing severe performance issues and numerous glitches in VS Code over the past 2 days, making development extremely challenging. The editor feels consistently slow and unresponsive.

Please help us out by providing a screen recording showing exactly what isn't working as expected. While we can work with most standard formats, .gif files are preferred as they are displayed inline on GitHub. You may find https://gifcap.dev helpful as a browser-based gif recording tool.

If the issue depends on keyboard input, you can help us by enabling screencast mode for the recording (Developer: Toggle Screencast Mode in the command palette). Lastly, please attach this file via the GitHub web interface as emailed responses will strip files out from the issue.

if this thread is talking about bad responsiveness then I have the same issue. VSCode feels extremely slow and for some reason, sometimes, hitting enter doesn't go to the new line instantly but it takes a few seconds. Moreover code suggestions sometimes disappear or take a significantly long amount of time to be shown. I have this issue both on W11, and on my Manjaro distro . I'm willing to share more info to solve this problem because it's pretty annoying.
