Split Terminal Pane vertically

When splitting a terminal pane, it only splits horizontally; I'd like to be able to split it vertically.

To mitigate you may move the terminal panel to the editor (drag&drop); there you may split the editor vertically (pressing ALT and clicking on split editor icon).

What do you mean by pwsh ?

Can you show a short screen capture of what you mean, it appears what your describing is not what I want. Although I could be wrong ?
