IBKR Flex Report: Transfer between accounts

Hi,
I used the new IBKR Flex Report Importer to reimport the entire history. It works well. However, I found out that it doesn't process transfers between my IBKR accounts.
You need to include them in the report to see them.

It would be great if the importer could import these transfers. I think importing them as transfers between PP accounts would be very complicated, but importing them as simple credit or debit operations would be enough.

That should be relatively easy - because the behavior should be the same.

Because it is just snippet - are transfers on the same level as Trades in the XML? In the context of an account?

Yes, Transfers is at the same level as Trades and CashTransactions.

Hello,

I also reimported IB trades in USD, including currency conversions from EUR to USD. The currency conversions are working now, but the USD account balance for stocks being bought in USD is not being updated after having processed the trades.
seg-on, Is this working correctly for you?

Looking at a sample Trade with IB, there are two issues as shown in the transaction below.

1. Instead of the order Type "Kauf", "Einlieferung" is used. Likewise a "sell" will be marked as "Auslieferung"
2. "Gegenkonto" is not updated.

Can anyone confirm?

If I understand the German types correctly, you use 'transfer in and out' instead of 'buy and sell'. This means that you don't spend money to make purchases; you only transfer stocks from another account or broker. Therefore, the cash account balance doesn't change. That's how it's supposed to work.

After reimporting my entire history, I checked every annual balance against the IBKR report, and after making all the necessary corrections, it matched. There is a difference in the decimal part, but this may be due to rounding.

However, I still need to check whether the securities account is the same as IBKR.

sorry for the explanation above, which can be misunderstood.

The German text for Buy and Sell is "Kauf" and "Verkauf" respectively. I am showing the incorrect transaction that resulted out of buying some Doordash stocks on NYSE. The type "Einlieferung" being shown above is incorrect. That is probably why the Offest Account is not booked either.

Having mentioned the language, I changed my Language (set automatically to German) to the US version in English and tried booking the buy transaction again. Alas, it works in the English language version. So this could be a mismatch due to the German language!? Would be great to have it fixed as I have been using the German language version for many years now.
Buy = Kauf
Sell = Verkauf
