Computational Biologist

I'm a Computational Biologist who specialises in long-read transcriptomics analyses and genome annotation. I like to learn from the field of Data Science so I'm often dabbling in small projects of that nature.

  • 🚦 Nanopore directRNA and cDNA nextflow workflow which maximizes transcript reconstruction options and prioritises annotation quality.
  • 🧬 Low-frequency pseudogene detection using ~400 long-read Oxford Nanopore datasets.
  • 🧞 Building an MVC app in Julia using Genie.jl
