how to run a cs file?

I installed .net 10 preview5, when I run dotnet run xxx.cs, got "can't found project ....", the dotnet --version is 9.0.xxx, how to run cs file?

You need to use a version of the .NET SDK that's at least .NET 10 preview 4 in order to run file-based apps.

If you installed 10 preview 4 or 5, and your dotnet --version command is returning a 9.0 version, then you may have a global.json interfering. If you run 'dotnet --info' we can maybe help you figure out what's going on.

so you mean I not only need a single cs file, also need a fxxken json file, why you guys so like dependence??
netfx: .exe need .exe.config
netcore: .exe need .dll and .deps.json and .runtimeconfig.json

why can't:
dotnet --specific-version preview|10.xxx run xxx.cs
