Unable to download videos - "Couldn't download - Network issue" #1349

I can't tell if this is a browser issue or a cobalt issue, but some videos I've tried downloading from cobalt keep giving me this error message; "Couldn't download - Network issue". My internet works fine, so I don't believe that's the issue. I've tried turning "prefer hls for video & audio" off & restarting my computer, but this still keeps happening.

If someone could please help fix this and/or clarify what the problem is, that'd be nice.

reproduction steps

  1. go to cobalt.tools
  2. turn "prefer hls for video & audio" on, select 1080p video quality
  3. paste this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBcwNCXauNE
