i can't log in

Describe the bug

I click on sign in and the link opens in the browser and when I click on Take me to Warp, the warp opens but it doesn't log me in and says request to log in failed and when I click on skip login it still doesn't pass.

Can you send a screenshot of what you are seeing? Also, do you mind sending your logs as well? You can run Compress-Archive -Path "$env:LOCALAPPDATA\warp\Warp\data\logs\warp.log*" -DestinationPath "$HOME\Desktop\warp-logs.zip" -Force from Windows Terminal and then upload the zip here. Thanks!

@heroinsh even if you try and skip login it fails may be due to a firewall or proxy blocking app.warp.dev and/or www.googleapis.com

Can you please try and make sure you have access to those domains?

Why the hell we just cannot use LOGIN and PASSWORD? This login system by sending uniquie login link via email is so stupid and inconvenient. Especially on PCs without any email clients. I have to copy and paste URL link between machines. STUPID THING !!!

@Isolator79 we use this method as it tends to be safer and ensures only those with access to the email address can login to the Warp account. There is a request for easier login you can track here. #5093

I am having this same issue. I went to reinstall the app because warp's ui was bugging out while I was trying to use ssh sessions and now i cant login at all, i have done everything in the docs, no firewall, no ISPs blocking, no nothing. I love this app and want it to get fixed soon. There is a serious issue with login implementation for this app, we need to have the option of logging in with username and password and using something more reliable like 2FA.
