YouTube eventually gets very slow and sluggish to use

What happened?

YouTube eventually gets very slow and sluggish, it just doesn't respond to right clicks and there are delays when scrolling down. After restarting the browser, it goes back to normal for a short while, but after 30 minutes to an hour it's back to being unusable.

I using Zen on Windows 11, x64, version 1.11.5b (Firefox 137.0.2) (64-bit)
When playing YouTube videos, the video and sound are not in sync. Not sure if it is related to the same issue. Anything I should paste here to help diagnose?

I think I'm experiencing the same issue on MacOS 14.5 and Zen v1.12.3b. Videos and the UI slow down and seem to drop frame rate.

I've tried today with the 1.12.10b version and YoutTUbe is working fine. For me this can be closed.
