Popup Window shows side bar with no function in compact mode

What happened?

I noticed, that the sidebar is present in popup windows when they are in compact mode. Compact Mode works also in popup windows, which means, that like in the normal window you can hide the toolbar (urlbar) and the sidebar. But the sidebar has no effect in popup windows.
When not in compact mode just the toolbar is present and you can't activate the sidebar. When switching to Compact Mode the toolbar gets hidden and appears on hover. But also the Sidebar gets shown on hover with no content and no function.
When maximizing the popup windows the sidebar does not appear on hover.

Reproduction:

The easiest reproduction for that problem is going to a twitch channel. On the chat area is a gear symbol. When clicking on it you can see a menu with the option "Popout Chat". This will open the chat in a popup window.

I checked it another time now in version 1.12.10b and it got fixed since 1.12.3b.
