Preliminary Checks

  • I have read and understood the important section above.
  • I have searched existing issues and avoided creating duplicates.
  • I am not filing an enhancement request.
  • I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.
  • I have checked that this issue can be reproduced once I removed all my Mods and Custom CSS.

What happened?

Until recently, Zen respected my system wide keyboard shortcut for selecting previous (Cmd+Option+Left) and next (Cmd+Option+Right) tab. This still works in Firefox, but in Zen I have to use the hand-crippling Ctrl+Shift+Tab and Ctrl+Tab. My globally set shortcut still works in Firefox and Firefox Developer Edition.

I can't be 100% sure, but I think that shortcut is a default on Firefox and I ended up setting it as a global thing on my Mac because it was baked into my muscle memory. This definitely used to work in Zen, otherwise I would never have continued to use it.

Expected behavior

Cmd+Option+Left should select the previous tab, Cmd+Option+Right should select the next tab

Actual behavior

Nothing happens

Steps to reproduce

Press Cmd+Option+Left/Right on a Mac
