Compact mode keeps toggling of on windows.

• I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.
• I have checked that this issue can be reproduced once I removed all my Mods and Custom CSS.

What happened?

I have no mods installed. Often when I open Zen it automatically sets the compact mode to "not checked".

Expected behavior

Compact mode should not be changing once defined

Actual behavior

Compact mode changes to Off out of nowhere.

Steps to reproduce

I do not know what causes it. Sometimes I simply open it on windows and get that. I'm also using Zen on Mac and do not face this issue.
