Firefox themes do not apply properly to Zen

What happened?

When in the Look and Feel settings, it sends you to AMO to install new themes. Installing an OLED-intended black theme does NOT change the color of the browser chrome away from the standard dark theme. It only changes the accent colors

Expected behavior

Main browser chrome colors change according to installed theme

Actual behavior

Only accent colors changed

Steps to reproduce

Install an "oled" theme from the Firefox extension store and enable it.

Because the UI of Zen is very far from the base Firefox, the Firefox themes hardly work apart from changing some accent colours and tab selection highlights.

Two things might help:

• Changing your colours in the Zen theme settings (right-click the sidebar and "change theme colours")
• Turning off Zen's colour gradient altogether which would show the Firefox theme's colour more: on the about:config page set zen.theme.gradient to false

I assumed as much, but in that case it'd be nice if Zen had a better theme creator in-browser, or it's own theme store.

The two things you suggested don't help. The first doesn't let you go darker than the default dark theme, and the second doesn't change anything at all :/

I'd prefer to avoid writing custom CSS for this, and I feel like it should be possible.

Yeah, I restarted after changing it, the colors still don't apply from the Firefox theme. Just the basic "dark theme" grey.
