Workspace menu is no longer a menu on macOS 15.5

What happened?

After updating to v1.13, the workspace menu above pinned tabs is no longer a menu.

Expected behavior

To be able to select my workspaces from the menu

Actual behavior

Clicking the menu now only renames the workspace

Steps to reproduce

1. Click the workspace menu
2. No longer see a list of menu items

This also affects Windows, I've just noticed. I hope this is not an intentional change as it is now extremely inconvenient to change workspaces.

You tell me how I'm supposed to pick the correct workspace short of mousing over them all individually or remembering their positions:

Hi I'm facing the same issue here. I also used the workspace menu as my primary way to change between workspaces and also forced my bottom workspace strip to be hidden with a small code in the userChrome.css as i found that a lot cleaner.

Would greatly appreciate it if this was brought back as an option in settings.

I have no problem with this being the intended way. I would just like another way to switch between tabs for people with 10+ workspaces like me. Atleast a way to put the icon strip on top as i like having the mediaplayer be the only thing on the bottom.

Maybe an implementation that is just a barebone version from before with just the function of switching and reordering workspaces, while having the three dot menu function the same, right clicking on the workspace name brings it up like before. I love the way how Zen lets you customize almost every way of the Browser experience so i don't see why it has to be so strict here.

I also find the new way of switching workspaces very inconvenient. I have my taskbar hidden and it unhides when I move the cursor close to the bottom of the screen. Now I have to switch workspaces by going to the bottom of the screen and trying to click on one of those tiny symbols. Every time I try to switch workspaces the taskbar tries to unhide because I miss the symbols by a bit. An option to change the behavior to how it was before would be very nice. It also seems illogical for new users since switching workspaces now is at a very different location than the workspaces themself. Not to mention the buttons are tiny and hard to find.

I need to use it a bit more since the update but its pretty miserable Just dont see why it was necessary to remove

@mauro-balades why are you making it intentionally difficult to use one of the unique selling points of Zen Browser?

I'm struggling to understand the purpose of this change. Can you clarify, please?
