Summary of Changes

Hello @rebeccaellis, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request introduces standard region tags to the update_product.py sample for the Retail API. These tags are crucial for automated documentation generation, allowing specific code snippets to be extracted and presented accurately in documentation, ensuring consistency between the sample code and its documentation.

Highlights

  • Documentation Tagging: Added the [START retail_update_product] region tag at line 18 in retail/interactive-tutorials/product/update_product.py to mark the beginning of the update_product sample code block.
  • Documentation Tagging: Added the [END retail_update_product] region tag at line 86 in retail/interactive-tutorials/product/update_product.py to mark the end of the update_product sample code block.

Code Review

This pull request adds [START ...] and [END ...] region tags to the update_product.py script. The END tag placement is appropriate. The review includes one comment of medium severity regarding the START tag's placement, suggesting it could be moved to create a more focused and concise code snippet for the 'update product' functionality, thereby improving the clarity of generated documentation.

Consider moving the [START retail_update_product] tag to line 33, just before the definition of project_id. This would create a more focused code snippet by excluding the import random, import string, and setup_cleanup import statements, as well as the generated_product_id variable, which are not directly related to the core 'update product' logic.
