Where is the "full suggestion" view?

In the original Copilot for xcode extension, complete suggestions are shown in a separate pop-up window. In the GitHub copilot for Xcode extension, I only see a single line with … at the end.

In this screenshot, you can see the dark-grey text only showing a single line with ... at the end. That is the Github Copilot suggestion.
The modal window on top that is showing the full suggestion is the original Copilot extension.

Is there a way to see the full suggestion view in Xcode? Was the modal window view the workaround that the original developers came up with to get around xcode's extension limitations?

@matkatmusic The screenshot you shared is from the personal copilot version from https://github.com/intitni/CopilotForXcode.

The experience of the official GitHub Copilot is a little different, which shows you a shortcut below to trigger multiline suggestions.

@testforstephen no shortcut is displayed for me.
the auto slashTest = tests[0];... suggestion is using the official github version.
My screenshot shows both tools active at the same time. Please re-read my original description of the issue

Is it because my version of Xcode is not the most current?
I'm using Xcode Version 15.3 (15E204a)

This kind of completion style is not from the official GitHub Copilot for Xcode extension. And it is not related to your Xcode version, what GitHub Copilot for Xcode version do you install? The latest official Copilot for Xcode version is 0.35.0, see the link here https://github.com/github/CopilotForXcode/releases.

I was on 0.34. I updated to 0.35.0 and now I see the Copilot icon and Option symbol as shown in your screenshot.
