We are encountering an issue when creating a task template in the Semaphore UI for a bash script. The task is failing when we attempt to create a folder using the bash script.

Could you please provide us with the correct steps to use a bash script task in Semaphore?

The Bash templates confused many users. I'm not sure if it was a good idea :)

Bash templates running locally inside of Docker container with Semaphore or on host machine.

You can not associate Inventory with bash script.

Expected use case: Run bash script on remote runner. Like GitLab runner.

Or like rundeck where we can configure jobs to run on remote machine.
