🐛 Describe the bug
When attempting to run RedHatAI/Llama-4-Scout-17B-16E-Instruct-FP8-dynamic on vllm 0.9.1 (vllm serve --config llama.yaml
). Vllm does not start and this appears in the log:
(VllmWorker rank=1 pid=14283) ERROR 06-16 07:53:45 [multiproc_executor.py:527] RuntimeError: CUDA error: no kernel image is available for execution on the device
(VllmWorker rank=1 pid=14283) ERROR 06-16 07:53:45 [multiproc_executor.py:527] CUDA kernel errors might be asynchronously reported at some other API call, so the stacktrace below might be incorrect.
(VllmWorker rank=1 pid=14283) ERROR 06-16 07:53:45 [multiproc_executor.py:527] For debugging consider passing CUDA_LAUNCH_BLOCKING=1
(VllmWorker rank=1 pid=14283) ERROR 06-16 07:53:45 [multiproc_executor.py:527] Compile with `TORCH_USE_CUDA_DSA` to enable device-side assertions.
This model worked fine under 0.8.5.post1.
