Greetings! 👋

I'm Mitchell Sharma, a Software Engineer based in Houston, TX.

Outside of my work, I've applied my development skills by creating websites and Discord bots for Houston-based non-profits, developing Userscripts to improve websites I frequent, and contributing to open source passion projects.

  • KomiBot: A discord bot providing Japanese-English translations; originally created for the UH Japanese community, now serving over 12,000 Discord users aross 90+ servers
  • SACNAS UH Website: A website for the SACNAS UH (diversity in STEM) non-profit, featuring a Google Sheets database for events and members, and Google Drive/Docs integration for website articles
  • SACNAS Bot: A Discord bot for the SACNAS UH non-profit that announces events from Google Sheets.
  • ZenDecks: A Next-gen flashcard app, supporting Markdown and LaTeX; import/export compatible with Anki, Quizlet, etc.
  • Tenet (legacy): A lightweight, user-driven social media platform I created with a team of 6 from Japan.
